"localizedDescription": "# LemoNX 2.6: JIT-less mode\n\nTest release. Known issues remain; see below.\n\n## New\n\n- **JIT-less mode.** Run games without JIT: LemoNX compiles a game's code ahead of time and signs it on your device with the certificate you installed it with. Turn it on in Settings › JIT & Updates › JIT-less Mode (AOT), import your certificate (.p12) and its password, and wait for Ready to sign. To our knowledge, LemoNX is the first Switch emulator for iOS that runs games without JIT.\n- **Create a pairing file on your iPhone (iOS 27).** Settings › JIT & Updates › Built-in StikJIT › Get or Create Pairing File, then Pair with LemoNX under Developer Mode. No computer needed.\n- **Native Metal 4 renderer.** Choose Metal 4 under Settings › Graphics Backend or per game. Still experimental.\n\n## Improvements\n\n- The loading screen shows progress while a game's code is prepared and loaded in JIT-less mode.\n- Code mods and plugins (for example UltraCam and Skyline plugins) work in JIT-less mode; their code is prepared while the game runs.\n- Old compiled code is removed automatically: LemoNX keeps the current version and the two most recently used per game.\n- Shortcuts actions check whether the developer disk image is ready before enabling JIT.\n- The library status light shows AOT in JIT-less mode, green when signing is ready.\n\n## Fixes\n\n- Metal 4: fixed flickering over button glyphs and text, uneven frame pacing, memory growth during long sessions, and rendering problems in Breath of the Wild and Pokémon Scarlet.\n- The Smash starter pack installs Smashline 1.6.8. Smashline 2.0.0 crashes Smash during online play.\n\n## Known issues\n\n- JIT-less mode needs the .p12 certificate your LemoNX installation was signed with. If your installer cannot export it, use JIT mode.\n- The first launch of each game in JIT-less mode takes about half a minute longer, and compiled code uses about 0.7 to 1.3 GB per game.\n- Metal 4 remains experimental; switch a game to Vulkan if it renders incorrectly.\n\nJIT-less mode was tested on an iPhone with iOS 27.2 with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (with and without UltraCam) and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with Skyline plugins, including online play.\n",

Known issues remain; see below.\n\n## Improvements\n\n- Added cloud save history, including the save date, device name, and archive size.\n- Added rollback to an earlier cloud save. Your current save is backed up and verified before restoring. Cloud sync stays paused until you resume it.\n\n## Fixes\n\n- Fixed Metal buffer-texture alignment handling that could leave textures unavailable.\n- Fixed two ordering issues in deferred buffer transfers.\n\n## Known issues\n\n- Pokémon Scarlet can still show intermittent model spikes and stretched geometry.\n- Minecraft Dungeons gameplay still needs a phone retest.\n\nBuffer handling passed GPU regression tests and Metal API validation. Game-specific fixes are still being tested.\n",
